Alan Lemire is an accomplished commercial and fine art photographer whose work seamlessly bridges product, lifestyle, people, and environmental storytelling. With a Bachelor of Science degree from the Brooks Institute of Photography, he has built a career defined by technical mastery and a refined visual sensibility. Alan’s commercial portfolio includes collaborations with leading brands such as Gap, Nike, Lands’ End, Macy’s, Kohl’s, and Banana Republic, producing imagery that combines clarity of concept with emotional depth. His photographs have appeared worldwide in advertising, magazines, and digital media, consistently reflecting a balance between artful composition and brand intent. Beyond his commercial work, Alan’s fine art projects—such as Cardiac Canyon, Moisture, and Genocide Memorials – Rwanda—explore the intersection of landscape, memory, and human experience. His images often examine the quiet tension between beauty and impermanence, rendered through both color and black-and-white mediums. Alan has also taught at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena and the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, sharing his experience with the next generation of visual storytellers. Currently based in Connecticut, his work continues to span both client commissions and personal explorations of the natural and constructed world.
