For me, looking through a lens is a lifelong passion rooted in the rich traditions of monochrome imagery. My self-taught photography journey began as a teenager in the days of film, developing a deep respect for the patience and precision required to capture a single frame. Rather than following formal training, I mastered the craft through decades of trial, error, and shared wisdom from talented peers. Today, as a retired hobbyist shooting with a Nikon D850 DSLR, I dedicate my focus to bird, nature, and wildlife photography. From local parks to hidden wetlands, I use the raw simplicity of light and shadow to strip away distractions, turning fleeting wildlife encounters into timeless visual stories.
