A23a

Pintado petrels feed at the base of A23a, currently the largest iceberg in the world. While concern existed that A23a might block vital feeding routes for Antarctic wildlife, evidence has shown that any impact is mixed: it's also stirring up vital nutrients, creating its own localized ecosystem.
