A career conservationist, focusing on endangered species protection in Southern Africa. Simon has worked in combatting the illegal wildlife trade, developed a black rhino sanctuary in South Africa, and helps organizations contribute meaningfully to conservation. This work has enabled a deep understanding of African wildlife and provided the opportunity to access some incredible situations, enabling astute storytelling of wild animals, but also the people who commit their lives to protecting the planet's last great wilderness areas. His fine art approach is intended to highlight the perfection in the wild's imperfection. Simon doesn't seek the perfect image of a lion, rather, he seeks the perfect image of THAT lion, allowing the characters of the wild to be ambassadors of the natural world with their own unique story of resilience and beauty.
