I grew up in the New Forest and was fortunate to have spent time in the mountains and other 'wild' places from an early age. Motivated by a desire to share my experiences of these beautiful landscapes, I soon developed an interest in photography. My passion for the outdoor environment led to a career in outdoor education. I continued to develop my photography skills as a student of Ffotogallery and then as an MA student at the University of South Wales. Whilst completing my MA in Documentary Photography, I started work on a long term project about the U.K. National Parks (This Other Eden). I am currently working on a project about re-wilding in the U.K.
