Silvija is a self-taught photographer living in Riga, the capital of Latvia, and she most enjoys turning photography into digital art. Probably it is because at an early age she enjoyed drawing and painting. She has developed her skills in digital photo artistry through attending various courses in Lightroom, Photoshop and other software programmes. Since 2016, she has been a member of an international group of Photoshop artists led by Sebastian Michaels (founder of Photoshop Artistry and internationally acclaimed AWAKE Group), who has greatly influenced her artwork. Digital art allows one to express their dreams, feelings and emotions. She does not have any particular style in her works. She likes playing with textures, lights, and brushes. It is her joy to transform photos or visions into art. Sometimes, little things like a shell, a simple flower, stones at the seaside, nice music or memories can be transformed into art.
